Terrace Oasis | Colorful Condesa Apartment

The property and unit itself are as advertised, it's a very nice unit in a great location. However, the unit wasn't ready on the first day of our 7 night stay. While another unit was found for us that night, it was a major inconvenience and very frustrating way start the stay. We also had to call for assistance three times to deal with the electronic entry system that stopped working one night, a patio door handle that needed repair, and a re-light of the hot water on demand unit which didn't provide hot water on one of the mornings. Overall, while the property manager was very prompt and responsive to all of this, it was otherwise a very unacceptable number of issues with no compensation offered. Overall rating = 2 for reasons above Cleanliness was excellent Communication = 2 for what I believe was a double booking of the first night we had reserved and paid for; otherwise property manager was very responsive to the other issues. Property Condition = beautiful unit, but a 3 for number of issues to be resolved in a 7 night stay. Area around the property is excellent; great area to stay in.

We had a fantastic stay at this amazing place right in the heart of Condesa. The apartment was great - really clean, very well furnished in a nice modern building. It seemed much bigger than listed actually, very spacious rooms and high ceilings and a great little balcony in front. We did have a bit of trouble with the water heater, which is an in-unit gas-powered heater, though the hosts were really helpful getting the problem fixed. The place isn't super quiet -- it's in a fairly lively neighbourhood and the walls are kind of thin so you definitely hear the neighbours. We are 'city folk' so it didn't bother us, but something to be aware of. The location is the real selling feature. Condesa is absolutely packed with amazing cafes and bars and restaurants, amazing street food (you have to have tlacoyos!!) and open-air markets (tianguis), and the most lovely tree-lined streets we've ever seen. Very easy to get around as well -- walking distance to really nice parks, other neighbourhoods like Roma Norte and Juarez, and not too long to Coyoacan, Centro Historico (loads of ride-shares around, and close to the metro / bus lines). Absolutely recommend this 'Terrace Oasis' to any travellers looking to get a taste of fantastic CDMX!
